Kilkivan State School is a small rural Prep to Year 10 school, situated a short drive west of Gympie. We have with a long history dating back to 1876, including students who have had family members enrolled for 6 generations.
We are unashamedly focussed on progression and making sure every student is learning and achieving, every day. We individually case manage all students to make sure that advancement is occurring. We pride ourselves on developing literate and numerate learners that are flexible enough to negotiate the ever-changing employment landscape. We also recognise that creativity and engagement in health, agriculture, digital and design technologies, instrumental music and the creative arts are vital. Our strong connections with our feeder school allows successful transition into years 11 and 12.
